Late yesterday evening, I reached that point where I needed to do something unrelated to schoolwork–which right now is largely Mahler-centric. So I flipped on the Olympics for a bit.

It was a lovely performance, though. And even in the thick of things, I’ll take Mahler over Andrew Lloyd Webber. (Sorry, Davis and White.) Or the bastardized Stravinsky in that Firebird number by one of the Russian teams.
